gtk issue but not relevant for me so I turned it off, I only use the daemon.
libevent is to old
and required to use the -std=c99 flag but this is called differently -xc99

I probably installed sunstudio12.1 to but this has been some time ago …

first make libevent more recent:

config files are in ~/.config/transmission this is linked there ~/.config/transmission-deamon

In order to compare the linestats over time I put together a small script that reads the dsllinestats output from a zyxel modem.
Modems known to produce compatible output
p-2812hnu-f1
p-2601hn-f1 firmware BLV.6

Usage:
put the script on a machine that understand perl make a directory called dslinestats
dump every statistics run in a separate file
name the files smartly, they produce the label
run “perl makeprettywrlgraphs.pl” in the directory where you made the dslinestats directory.
Open your dslinestats.wrl with your favorite vrml viewer.

TODO:
Put in some sanity checks, for now the script works when you are careful. If you do not follow the correct procedure I have no clue what will happen.

Place the camera at a sane position.
Add some reference axis.
Finetune position labels.
Finetune colors.
Compress vrml file.
Add some more comments for documentation.

rest as above afterwards…. one can detach the disk one by one and then attach them as above with the /dev/dsk name to make it look pretty again

There are 3 possibilities for this driver.
foo2qpdl splix and the linux driver from samsung self.
I tried the foo2qpdl download from http://foo2zjs.rkkda.com/ aka http://foo2qpdl.rkkda.com/
install gcc ucb and groff, gawk with the package manager … for the rest follow the guide in the INSTALL file.
For the 610 the color still needs to be adjusted and there was glitch on the bottom of the page.

First just install image/scanner/xsane
check if you scan on the desktop

Yep een nieuwe functie, sinds vanochtend.
Gisteren op de macbook zelf gewerkt(dus zonder usb muis en keyboard) en is automatisch snow leopard geupdate. En verder heb ik zover als ik weet geen muis instellingen veranderd.

Wat is er gebeurd? Ik heb geen idee, maar toen ik vanochtend achter mijn bureau plaatsnam met een trust wireless keyboard, muis en een groter scherm met mijn macbook dicht. Had ik dus een extra volume knop.
Ik heb het net met een andere usbdraadmuis geprobeerd en die scrolt wel normaal.

Het scrollen op het trackpad gaat als vanouds. Ik heb zelfs de macbook opnieuw opgestart omdat ik in de geluid settings muis settings en keyboard shortcuts niets terug kon vinden.
In itunes zie ik geen setting en ook in frontrow weinig wat hier mee te maken kan hebben.

Welke …… heeft een plist of kext aangepast en waar o waar kan ik het weer terug zetten naar gewoon scrollen.

Inmiddels het probleem gevonden….. Ik had het toetsenbord een tijdje op mijn muis liggen en daar zit een multimedia knopje op dat als je langer dan 5 sec indrukt dit vervelende gedrag vertoont. Als ze nu de andere knopjes op de muis nu normaal hadden laten werken…… onder osx…

It is a disaster …… there are a millions of roms and which is which and what does what ???????
And you could be worse off if you do not have a backup ;). if you are running anything from version 6 and above install microsoft myphone and backup your phone! outlook backup is also nice….

Now to make things complicated you also need to figure out which hardware drivers are the best for your phone aka the radio versions…. And related wifi does not work if you have a usb activesync session going on…
For the prophet aka spv m600 they say it is 2.19.21

And then of course if you want another skin on your phone like for instance manila. or call it sense or…. cdigiclock seems to be nice

After all this you need to find the actual one for your phone or get a kitchen and cook it yourself

p.s. as a final note …….. It worked one time with me to update on win7 32bit just use xp it just works every time… it has been mentioned that xp mode also works I did not bother since there was a xp machine standing next to me
